Dr. Baldwin is a General Ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and glaucoma. He will be joining the practice July 2018.
A native of North Dakota, Dr. Baldwin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Biology and Chemistry from The University of Sioux Falls. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, where he was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. He will finish his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in July 2018.
Dr. Baldwin has been trained to perform state-of-the-art cataract surgery including Toric and multifocal intraocular lens implantation to optimize postoperative refractive results. Dr. Baldwin also performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, refractive surgery (PRK, LASIK), and eyelid surgery. He also provides the full spectrum of laser surgery including: YAG capsulotomy, YAG peripheral iridotomy, pan retinal photocoagulation, and selective laser trabeculoplasty.
Dr. Baldwin is a Board Eligible Ophthalmologist, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Nebraska Academy of Ophthalmology.
He enjoys spending time with his family, being active in his local church, exercising, spending time outside hunting/fishing, and cheering on Husker sports…GO BIG RED!
