Dr. Luke Tomczak is certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Michigan State Pre-Medical Association, and the University of Alabama Capstone Leadership Academy.

Dr. Tomczak completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University; he received his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He interned in Internal Medicine at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA where he also completed his residency. Dr. Tomczak is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk VA.

Dr. Tomczak conducted research in the analysis of corneal hysteresis in canines, was a part of the research team to present a case study to the Digital Journal of Ophthalmology on Primary Breast Cancer with Choroidal Metastasis, as well as conducting a screening for and treatment of Vitamin D deficiencies in pregnant women.

Dr. Tomczak is a proud mentor with Refuge Temple Youth Empowerment Tutoring offering math and science tutoring to inner city children in Flint, MI. He has volunteered at Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross, Special Olympics, and the Lions of Michigan Foundation. He resides in Columbus and when he is not working or doing research, he enjoys bass fishing, snowboarding, golf, and college football.

Dr. Tomczak will be seeing new and existing patients at Eye Physicians, PC Columbus & Norfolk locations.
